Multiplexed data packets transmitted into the abyss, messages of hope, longing and melancholy compressed into information-rich data streams. Message to a Distant Star was inspired by the Japanese science fiction anime Voices of a Distant Star in which the messages of lovers from earth to space and back take progressively longer to reach one another, from days to years.
