11 Sequences for Tom Johnson

This catalogue-type composition presents eleven sequences generating using the algorithm for non-retrogradable self-similar sequences that was also employed in the composition of Signals Intelligence (2002). This multi-movement work employs mathematics in nearly every aspect of its construction while still being situated well within the French contemporary organ tradition. The piece is dedicated to composer Tom Johnson, and was premiered by Brian Parks at the American Church in Paris in January, 2011
